The world is such a vast and diverse place that even if we were to live for a thousand years we would not get the chance to see it in all its splendour.  Those of us who like to travel can tick the countries on our bucket list as we cross borders and collect the stamps on our passports, but even when we’ve set foot upon the soil of a new domain we are mindful that there is so much to see and to experience in each and every land.

Take the United States for example.  Just how long would it take to marvel at the Great Lakes, take the Greyhound from coast to coast, see the Wild West, do the casinos in Vegas, take in New York and Washington DC, visit Hollywood, climb the Rocky Mountains, drop in at Graceland and then across to Walt Disney World – not to mention everything there is to be seen in-between?  And that is just one country – there were 195 at the last count!

So no matter how far I travel and how extensively I report upon my exciting adventures, they will be but the tip of the iceberg (did I include Greenland?) in the greater scheme of things.

Your Help is Needed

That is why I need your help to make this blog a success.  Because it attracts over 10,000 visitors each month, a link in your article will generate loads of traffic back to your website as well of course as providing a very useful backlink for the benefit of the search engines.

At the same time my readers get to enjoy somebody else’s holiday stories as well as my own.  Variety is very much the spice of life, so keep it all on topic and it’s a win-win for us both.

What Should I Contribute?

I prefer articles which are in the region of 600 to 800 words long, and obviously they should be on the subject of travel.  If you wish to be identified as the author then please just send a photo in with it, as well as a short biography,  Alternatively, if you would prefer not to be identified as the author then just let me know and that won’t be a problem.  I will correct any typos, but other than that the article is yours and I’ll respect that entirely.  Just let me know, I’m happy either way.
